Default firmware
The Ploopy Trackpad ships with QMK preloaded.
Want to load new firmware onto your Ploopy Trackpad? Loading new firmware is fast and easy, and doesn’t require anything except your computer. Check out our guide here. It includes a full set of instructions on loading new firmware. You can load new firmware with tools like QMK Toolbox or the QMK Configurator.
The Trackpad comes with a stylus. However, due to some technical limitations, the stylus is not enabled by default and therefore does not work. We expect to support stylus usage in the future.
A note for macOS users: macOS forces the Trackpad into “mouse emulation mode”. This means that, although the Trackpad will track correctly and register clicks, it does not permit pinch-to-zoom, smooth scrolling, or most multi-finger gestures. For this reason, the Trackpad is currently only supported on Windows and Linux.
